TAUT & TONED

The Taut & Toned treatment utilizes three therapies (RF and HIFEM) to eliminate fat, strengthen, firm, smooth and tone muscle, that increase elastin and collagen fibers while increasing local circulation and waste removal by utilizing EMSculpt Neo® and EMTone®.

WHAT TO EXPECT

    • Hydration is important. Come to your appointment well-hydrated, and drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment. Avoid beverages with a diuretic effect, like drinks containing caffeine and alcohol, in a day or two ahead of your treatment.

    • Leave the skin free of any lotions, makeup or serums the day of your treatment.

    • Remove any jewelry and put away electronic devices before starting your treatment.

    • Shave any body hair near and in the area to be treated.

    • Wear comfortable clothing on the day of your treatment. Your provider will need easy access to areas being targeted during your procedure.

    • Talk to your provider about any cardiovascular conditions, implants or injuries you’ve experienced in the areas you’d like to target. Your provider will be able to tell you whether Emtone is safe for you or whether you’re a better candidate for a different kind of treatment that will get you the results you’re looking for.

    • Your provider will take "before" images of the treatment area prior to your treatment.

    • Your provider will take "after" images of the treatment area immediately after your treatment.

    • Any redness you see on your skin after your treatment is temporary and should go away the same day of your treatment.

    • Do not exercise the treated area intensely for 24-48 hours (since we just exercised it for you)

    • You may experience soreness to the treated area for up to 48 hours (much like after an intense workout)

    • You shouldn’t expect any downtime after treatment and should be able to return to your regular, daily activities right after your treatment.

    • Keep well-hydrated in the days after treatment. Hydration boosts elasticity in the skin, improves tone, and helps you feel your best after your procedure.

    • Results are not immediate and may require more than one series of 4 treatments to the target area depending on individual starting point and response.

    • To maintain results, complete a maintenance treatment at least once per quarter

    • The recommended minimum number of sessions for optimal results is four sessions. Some patients will benefit from six total sessions, depending on the treatment areas targeted. Schedule your sessions as recommended by your provider at the end of your appointment, and follow treatment instructions to the letter

    • Your future lifestyle choices will determine how well the procedure works for you. If you follow the guidelines below, your chances of improving your body composition will improve greatly.

    • Maintain a healthy diet. Avoid fried foods, processed foods and foods high in sugar.

    • Stay active. Regular exercises help the body to heal faster, burn fat, and it allows you to accelerate and enhance your results. If you do not have a regular exercise regimen, you should develop a regimen that includes resistance/weight training. Move in ways that you enjoy but make sure that you include weightlifting at least once per week, preferably twice weekly to maintain a healthy body composition.

    • Consider additional treatments. If the first treatment is successful, you should consider adding a treatment to other areas if possible.
